Cookie policy
Updated:
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by the kpvgroup.vn website of KIM PHU VINH INTERNATIONAL COMPANY LIMITED (KPV), their purposes and durations, and how you can change your choices. The processing of personal data in general is described in our Personal data protection policy.
1. Your choices
On your first visit, the website displays a cookie notice with two buttons: Accept and Reject. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for 12 months; after that (or if you clear your browser data) the website will ask you again.
The website uses Google Consent Mode v2. While you have not yet made a choice, or if you click Reject: Google Analytics does not set cookies in your browser; your browser still sends cookieless measurement signals (for example, that a page was viewed, or the device type) – without any identifier stored on your device – so that Google can estimate aggregate figures. When you click Accept: Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visits and measure advertising effectiveness.
2. Cookies used by the website
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration | When |
|---|---|---|---|---|
kpv_consent | KPV | Remembers whether you Accepted or Rejected analytics & advertising cookies (value: type of choice + time of choice). | 12 months | After you click Accept or Reject (strictly necessary) |
kpv_utm | KPV | Remembers the traffic source (utm campaign parameters, gclid, fbclid, first landing page) so we know which channel you came from when you submit a form. Contains no name or phone number. | 30 days | Only if you click Accept and arrive at the website via a link with campaign parameters |
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visits (random ID) for aggregate statistics. | Up to 2 years | Only if you click Accept |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics 4 | Stores the session state for KPV’s GA4 property. | Up to 2 years | Only if you click Accept |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* | KPV (WordPress) | Maintains the login session and admin preferences of KPV staff. | Session – up to 14 days (wp-settings: 1 year) | Only when staff log in to the admin area |
Browsers may shorten cookie lifetimes themselves (for example, Safari on iPhone/iPad limits cookies set by JavaScript; Chrome caps them at 400 days). If you click Reject after previously clicking Accept, the website deletes the _ga, _ga_<id> and kpv_utm cookies from your browser.
3. Other browser storage (not cookies)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
kpv_consent | localStorage | A copy of your cookie choice, used to restore it if the browser deletes cookies early. | 12 months (ignored by the website once expired) |
kpv_utm_pending | sessionStorage | Temporarily holds the traffic source (as with the kpv_utm cookie above) before you have clicked Accept, so that it can still be attached to a registration form in the same session. When you click Accept, this information is converted into the kpv_utm cookie. | Deleted automatically when you close the tab |
kpv_lead_ok, kpv_lead_summary | sessionStorage | Displays a summary of your request on the Thank-you page after you submit a form (name, partially masked phone number, area of interest). | Deleted automatically when you close the tab |
kpv_trk_lead, kpv_trk_done | sessionStorage | Records the “registration submitted” event once (form type, area of interest – no name, phone number or email) and prevents double counting. | Deleted automatically when you close the tab |
kpv_ann_* | sessionStorage | Remembers that you have closed the announcement bar at the top of the page. | Deleted automatically when you close the tab |
4. Embedded third-party content
YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click play; Google Maps loads only when you click to view the map. At that point YouTube/Google may set cookies in accordance with their own policies.
5. How to manage cookies
In addition to the Cookie settings button, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or use private browsing mode. Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect your ability to view content or submit a consultation request form.
Last updated: 21/10/2026. If KPV starts using additional services that set cookies (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Pixel), this page will be updated before they are enabled.
